Southgate Cricket Club
The objective here was to provide cricket facilities for the children and adults in the local community and wider area. Southgate Cricket Club used the funding to install two new artificial cricket practice nets.
''The grant enabled the club to install new practice facilities and provide much-needed all-weather facilities for junior and adult players. We have seen an increase in the number of junior players joining the club as a direct result of being able to offer better nets. The adult members and visitors from other organisations, including Middlesex Disabled Cricket have also benefitted significantly''.
