What We Fund
Before making an application to The Grange Farm Foundation please read the following information which explains what we fund and who can apply.

Background
The Grange Farm Centre Trust is a registered charity based at Grange Farm Centre, Grange Farm Lane, Chigwell IG7 6DP.
The object of the Trust is “to provide or to assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure-time occupation for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit in particular and the public generally with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants”.
The “area of benefit” shall mean the Metropolitan Police District and such part of the district of Epping Forest in the county of Essex as is not included in the said police district.
Who can apply?
Charities and Organisations that provide facilities or services for recreation and leisure within the area of benefit (see map below)
Applications will only be considered from applicants where membership is open to the public at large.
Applications from national or regional charities will only be considered where the project and beneficiaries clearly fall within the area of benefit.
Applications received from Local Authorities and Government Agencies will not be considered.

What can the funding be used for?
Grants are to be regarded as one-off payments towards specific projects, with at least a medium-term life. Applications for monies to assist with recurring annual expenditures will in normal circumstances be rejected.
Whilst promotion of sport is not of itself a charitable purpose it becomes charitable if the promotion is for the benefit of the public at large and in particular for children and the disabled.
How much can my organisation apply for?
Other than in exceptional/special circumstances, no single grant will exceed a figure of £10,000.
Other
Where a grant has been awarded, a further grant application will not normally be considered within a period of 3 years from the payment of the previous award.
